Meeting a hero of mine... Steven Fry

Everyone has an idol. I was lucky enough to meet mine. Mr Steven Fry, comedian, author, poet and general genius ( and that's official).

I have been a fan of Steven Fry for many years. Not only as a comedian, but also as someone who has a passion for words..... everyone has a favourite word. What's yours?

Steven Fry passionately collects words, mad as it sounds. He writes down words he hears which make him smile, or sound good or make him laugh.

His favourite word is plinth.
