Since childhood I have always wanted to speak Gaelic. I was surrounded by Gaelic speakers at school and held a little bit of resentment that I couldn't "join in".

I was lucky enough recently, to stumble across a fantastic opportunity - glasgow community education courses.

Classes are free to glasgow residents and the teaching is superb.

There are classes at both the Gaelic High School in Glasgow and at Daisy Street community centre in Govanhill.

If you fancy giving it a go, contact Eddy Cavin and tell him you found out about it on Eli's website.
